ASSOCHAM National Education Summit & Excellence Awards 2014 brought together the national and international leaders in education. The event was organised at Hotel Shangri-la, Janpath on February 19, 2014. The theme of the coveted conference was ‘Skill Development & Higher Education’ with the main focus on e-learning.
Ivory Education was chosen amongst over 468 entries, in the category – Best Interactive Whiteboard and AV Provider. It is a notable achievement for the technology that plays a critical education in Skill Development & Higher Education.
Speaking on the award, Kapil Rampal, Director, Ivory Education Pvt Ltd, said, “We are honoured that our technology was chosen amongst many entries in the category. Over the past few years, we have made tremendous efforts to bring in new innovations to enhance learning and development. Interactive Whiteboard & AV is just one of the many innovations that we have in store. We look forward to bring more products for improving education in our country.”
The eminent participants at the event included Dilip Chenoy, CEO, NSDC, Dr. Madhukar Angur, Chancellor – Alliance University, Dr. Rama Shankar Singh, Chancellor – ITM University, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Chancellor – KIIT University, Dr. Avinash Pant, Vice President – AICTE, Mr. Tushar Pandey, President & Country Head – YES Bank and others. The inaugural address was by Shri Jitin Prasad, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of HRD. Most of the panelists highlighted the role of e-learning in higher education.
The award was presented by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Karan Singh.
